Atlanta – Benjamin F. Easterlin IV of Atlanta was honored with the 21st annual Chief Justice Thomas O. Marshall Professionalism Award, presented June 3 during the Annual Meeting of the State Bar of Georgia.
A member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1974, Easterlin was a partner at King & Spalding LLP in Atlanta and served as president of the State Bar in 1996-97, as chair and executive director of the Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission, as chair of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and Lawyers Foundation of Georgia.
The annual Chief Justice Thomas O. Marshall Professionalism Award, presented by the Bench and Bar Committee of the State Bar of Georgia, honors one lawyer and one judge who have continued to demonstrate the highest professional conduct and paramount reputation for professionalism. Easterlin was honored along with Western Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Lawton E. Stephens of Athens.
