Congratulations to Judge Bills on appointment to state council

Rockdale Citizen, Conyers

To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Rockdale County Superior Court Judge Nancy N. Bills on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve on the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council.

All Georgians will benefit from Judge Bills’ service on the council, which is responsible for serving as the statewide clearinghouse for criminal justice information and research, developing criminal justice legislation and executive policy proposals and advising the governor on issues impacting the criminal justice system.

Judge Bills’ acceptance of this appointment demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in this new capacity of statewide leadership.
