Congratulations to new Solicitor General Jessica Martin

To the Editor:
The State Bar of Georgia congratulates Jessica B. Martin, staff attorney for the Mountain Judicial Circuit, on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as solicitor general of the State Court of Habersham County.
Ms. Martin will be well served by her eight years of experience in the legal profession and public service, including previous work in private practice and as a law clerk for the Piedmont Judicial Circuit and, most recently, drafting orders and jury charges for civil and criminal cases and carrying out other duties that contribute to the overall operation of the Superior Courts of the Mountain Circuit.
Through her acceptance of this appointment, Solicitor General Martin demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in his new position.
