On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Coweta Judicial Circuit Senior Assistant District Attorney Matthew S. Swope on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a judge for the State Court of Coweta County.

Judge Swope will be well served by his 16 years of experience in the legal profession, including his previous service in private law practice with Rosenzweig, Jones, Horne & Griffis, P.C., in Newnan. He is a past Executive Board member of the Newnan-Coweta Bar Association.

By accepting this appointment, Judge Swope demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this capacity of judicial leadership.

Sincerely,
