Savannah – Ralph J. Caccia of Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, D.C., was elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 43,000-member State Bar of Georgia and was installed June 2 during the organization’s annual meeting.
Caccia will serve in the Out-of-State, Post 2 seat on the board. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2007.
A former federal prosecutor, Caccia currently focuses his practice on the defense of corporations and individuals in government enforcement actions.
The Board of Governors is the 160-member policymaking authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings five times per year.
