The Commission has expanded its focus to include judicial professionalism by assisting the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education in Georgia (ICJE) in developing programs on judicial professionalism for the Councils of Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate and Juvenile Court Judges, and the Georgia Association of Administrative Law Judges and Hearing Officers. In 1995, the Commission coordinated a preview among local Atlanta judges of "The Ethics of a Judicial Decision: Judicial Decision and Personal Conscience," a program developed by the University of Pennsylvania Center on Professionalism. The Eleventh Circuit Judicial Conference looked to the Commission for the design of its 1997 program "Professionalism: A Timely Dialogue For and Between Lawyers and Judges." Since 2000 the Commission has presented a number of ICJE programs on the Judicial District Professionalism Program and the Transition Into Law Practice Program.
