Notice of Motion to Amend the Rules and Regulations of the State Bar of Georgia | Part VIII. Continuing Legal Education

The Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia met at a regularly scheduled meeting on June 8, 2024, and approved proposed rule changes to Part VIII. Continuing Legal Education. The changes were drafted with the aim of enhancing and updating the rules.

A publication notice and the proposed rule changes are published in the Recent News section on the State Bar of Georgia’s website. Members of the State Bar of Georgia are invited to file comments regarding the proposed rule changes. The procedures for filing a comment are located in the publication notice.

Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE)

The Institute of Continuing Legal Education provides certified continuing legal education programs. These programs are offered onsite, at various destination locations, online and on demand, giving Georgia's lawyers an array of opportunities to fulfill their CLE requirements. Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency (CCLC)

Speaker Clearinghouse

The Speaker Clearinghouse is designed specifically for, and contains detailed information about, minority and women lawyers who would like to be considered as faculty members in continuing legal education programs and provided with other speaking opportunities.
