To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Henry County State Court Judge Danielle P. Roberts on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a Superior Court judge in the Flint Judicial Circuit, covering Henry County.

Judge Roberts will be well served in her new position by her nearly 14 years of experience in the legal profession and justice system, including private practice in both civil and criminal law and previous service as Henry County Magistrate Court judge for two years before becoming a State Court judge in October 2020.

We also congratulate Ralph Bailey Jr. of McDonough, senior trial attorney for Allstate Insurance Company, on his appointment by Gov. Kemp to succeed Judge Roberts as Henry County State Court judge. Judge Bailey has been a member of the Georgia Bar for 15 years and previously served as an assistant district attorney in Fulton County and Henry County. He is also a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserves, where he serves as a brigade judge advocate.

By accepting these appointments, Judge Roberts and Judge Bailey demonstrate their continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish them well in their new capacities of judicial leadership.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth L. Fite
President, State Bar of Georgia
