Congratulations to new District Attorney William Kendall

To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Houston Judicial Circuit Chief Assistant District Attorney William M. Kendall on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as district attorney for the Houston Circuit.
Mr. Kendall will be well served in his new position by his previous service as an assistant district attorney for the Cordele Judicial Circuit and the past two years in the Houston Circuit. Prior to his legal career, he worked as a criminal investigator and military working dog handler for the Marines.
By accepting this appointment, Mr. Kendall demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this new capacity of leadership.
