Georgia legal community mourns loss of Marcus Calloway

To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of attorney S. Marcus Calloway of Calloway Title & Escrow LLC in Atlanta after his passing at the age of 72.
A member of the Georgia Bar since 1976, Mr. Calloway built one of the Southeast’s top-producing commercial title firms. He was honored for his contributions with the State Bar of Georgia’s Real Property Law Section’s George A. Pindar Award in 2013 and the Southeast Land Title Association’s Title Person of the Year honor in 2017.
Marcus Calloway’s long and exemplary career is an inspiration to all Georgia lawyers. We are appreciative of his many generous contributions to the legal system in our state. He will be missed and fondly remembered.
