On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Appalachian Judicial Circuit District Attorney B. Alison Sosebee on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a Superior Court judge for the Appalachian Circuit, covering Fannin, Gilmer and Pickens counties.

Judge Sosebee will be well served by her 22 years of experience in the legal profession, including the past decade as district attorney. She previously worked in private practice and has served as Juvenile Court judge pro tem for the Appalachian Circuit, as city attorney for East Ellijay; as city attorney and solicitor for McCaysville; and as solicitor, public defender and Municipal Court judge pro tem for Ellijay. She is also a past chair of the Zell Miller Mountain Pathway Drug Task Force Control Board.

By accepting this appointment, Judge Sosebee demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in this capacity of judicial leadership.

Sincerely,

J. Antonio “Tony” DelCampo
