To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Mark A. Hendrix of Mark A. Hendrix, P.C., in Richmond Hill on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a Superior Court judge for the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, covering Bryan, Evans, Liberty, Long, McIntosh and Tattnall counties.

Judge Hendrix will be well served by his 23 years of experience in the legal profession, including current service as solicitor general for Long County since 2008 and previously as solicitor general for the city of Richmond Hill and as an assistant district attorney for the Atlantic Circuit before going into private practice. 

By accepting this appointment, Judge Hendrix demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this capacity of judicial leadership.
