ATLANTA – The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the State Bar of Georgia honored the Savannah Young Lawyers Division as its Outstanding YLD Affiliate during the organization’s Annual Meeting on June 3. President Taylor Dove accepted the award on behalf of the Savannah YLD, which was recognized for its exceptional service to its members and the community.
Additionally, Jonathan B. Pannell of Gray, Pannell & Woodward LLP in Savannah received the Ross Adams Award. Pannell, a past president of the Georgia YLD, was recognized for his long time service to the public and the justice system.
Meredith “Merry” Layman of Pooler received the Award of Achievement for Service to the Profession, which honors YLD members who represent a level of professionalism that every attorney should strive to achieve.
