Job Title: Program Coordinator

Statement of Purpose
The program coordinator facilitates the development and production of continuing legal education (CLE) programs for members of the legal profession.
Duties

The position requires physical labor, to include lifting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and evenings, as needed.
Program Planning
- Coordinate and support the development of in-person and virtual continuing legal education (CLE) programs.
- Collaborate with the assistant director of operations (ADO) and programs manager (PM) on an ongoing basis to ensure the CLE programs are executed seamlessly.
- Coordinate the administrative details of CLE programs from program assignment to closeout.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with attorneys and senior level management to support the development of agendas for CLE programs
- Maintain and update program agendas, taking special care to ensure all program and faculty details are complete and correct, and appropriately track and update information, communicating all changes to other department teams, as needed.
- Respond to all communications (internal and external) in a timely manner, keeping PM up to date on the status of ongoing projects.
- Collaborate on the marketing of assigned ICLE programs.
- Monitor ICLE program schedule and communicate with fellow staff members to anticipate needs of program chairs, program speakers and program attendees.
- Prepare budgets for programs and communicate with program chairs, section leaders and State Bar departments regarding program budget.
- Execute program day logistics.
- Complete post-program work for the on-demand (recorded) production of programs.
Other
- Collaborate with co-workers in ICLE and in other State Bar of Georgia departments.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of contracts, bills, and expense reports to appropriate Bar staff.
- Work as part of a team; interact with and support State Bar of Georgia staff, members, and volunteers.
- Support Bar staff in any assigned responsibilities.
- Comply with State Bar of Georgia policies.
- Available to provide timely and personal attention to the public, and to State Bar of Georgia staff, members and volunteers.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to become familiar with organization specific programs and software.
Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with program management, event and or meeting planning.
- Experience in law firms, government legal departments or bar associations is preferred.
- Excellent collaboration and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, client service, and written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, capable of multi-tasking and possess impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
Travel
- In-state and out-of-state travel required.
- Travel expenses reimbursed pursuant to State Bar policies and procedures.
